Our heart is to try and re-orient our lives around the life and teaching of Jesus by living five rhythms. We have used the acrostic B.L.E.S.S. to describe these rhythms. They are Beautify, Listen, Eat, Study & Send. By the way, it is not that we haven’t been trying to live for Jesus in the past, we have just felt a renewed call to do this in a particular way.
Here is a brief description of what we mean by each one and what we are trying to do.
Beautify - Find ways to intentionally bring beauty to the lives of people that we know, feel led to bless or to the world that we live in a couple of times each week.
Listen - Try to spend an hour each week listening to God, just as Jesus listened to His Father and spoke what he heard the Father saying (Jn. 5).
Eat – Make a point of eating (having coffee, breakfast, donut, dinner, etc…) with those who are already Christ-followers and those who are not Christ-followers a couple times each week.
Study - Spend at least an hour each week studying the Bible, particularly the Gospels.
Send – Be active and keep some record of how you are living a “sent” life and take some time to encourage others in our Mosaic Community to do the same.
We hope this helps you understand what we are about. We look forward to meeting you in the near future.
Mosaic gathers each, sometimes at The Majestic and other times in homes or while bringing beauty in the community.
